So that Superman/Batman movie coming out …

… has some kick ass fights in it. And some kick ass DC women fighting them. Warner Brothers isn’t really promoting it but the movie is about Supergirl and also features Wonder Woman, Barda and a certain red headed Amazon. Here she is “training” Supergirl.

And there’s an awesome fight with Barda and Wonder Woman against the furies.

So despite the fact that DC marketing only to males and not really promoting the female leads, there are about 14 minutes of DC Women Kicking Ass you might want to watch.

Update: Here is report on some comments the film’s director made about “hiding” the fact Supergirl was in the movie

One more thing I found interesting. Lauren Montgomery, the movie’s director commented that the reason the DVD isn’t called Superman/Batman. Supergirl is because the Wonder Woman DVD didn’t sell as well as Warner Brothers had hoped. And the suits in charge now feel that a female super hero won’t sell DVD’s as well as a male hero. So, because of that, not only do we not have Supergirl in the title, but the image we have of her on the cover is her evil “slutty outfit” version. And, It is my understanding that the only reason they got her on the cover is because she looks “skanky” in that image.
