Cartoon Network DC Nation Commercial Gives a Peek at New Offerings

During the premiere of the new Green Lantern on Cartoon Network this evening viewers were show a sneak peek at the upcoming DC Nation block of shows in a commercial that gave glimpses of a variety of content.

Most intriguing was what appeared to be footage from the live action Blue Beetle test footage shown at SDCC 2010. Here’s a still from the commercial:

And one from what was shown at SDCC showing the same window and costume.

We also saw a new take on the popular Teen Titans and, yes, Starfire is in it.

And it appears that there will be a show based on the popular Lego Batman game

There also seemed to be a glimpse at the Super Best Friends Forever short to be written by Lauren Faust of My Little Pony and Power Puff Girls fame. I believe this is Supergirl riding a a flying unicorn. Update: More than a few people have suggested this could be Amethyst of Gem World. I agree this does look like her.

There was also several takes on Batman including one that seemed very Wallace and Gromit like.

And here’s a look at the Plastic Man short.
