New DC Video Game headlines Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn

The makers of MortalKombat will soon be offering a new game that will feature DC characters. Injustice: Gods Among us will DC’s heroes, including the Trinity and the Flash, facing off against some of DC’s top villains including Harley Quinn and Solomon Grundy.

The press release states the game will give “gamers an epic experience as they battle like gods as their favorite DC Comics villains and heroes.” Developed NetherRealm Studios, Injustice will be out in 2013 for the Xbox 360, PlaysStation 3 and the Wii U.

The game’s initial artwork is noticeable for new takes on character costumes. Here’s Wonder Woman who clearly didn’t get the final “no pants” memo from Dan Didio.

And Harley Quinn who seems to be the character that designers take on and utterly abandon their good taste.
