In addition to the news about a Justice League movie script being written, there was also news about a Wonder Woman movie script being written.
Now if you remember there have been a variety of scripts written for Wonder Woman movies including one by Laeta Kalogridis (who also worked on WBs Birds of Prey), the Todd Alcott/Jon Cohen vehicle which was targeted for Sandra Bullock (let’s be thankful that one didn’t get made - don’t believe me? Read this) and finally the script that Joss Whedon wrote. You know the guy who just made the biggest superhero movie ever.
So who did they hire to write the Wonder Woman script? Michael Goldenberg one of the folks responsible for writing the bomb of superhero movie Green Lantern. No, I am not making that up.
Oh well, it can’t possibly be worse than David E. Kelly’s TV script.
The struggle to get a Wonder Woman movie is a long one. Entertainment Weekly did an indepth article on the topic and it is a very interesting read.
Basically it comes down to the fact she’s a female character.

Nah, that would never make any money.
