DC Women Kicking Ass

Thoughts, pictures, reviews and other stuff about the women in comics who kick ass. This is a feminist site. Deal with it.
"... just a dreadful little site that just basically compiles lists." - poster/DC Comics forum
"... provides a much-needed voice that is not often heard on traditional comic sites." - Wired's Geek Dad
... she's pretty amazingly ignorant of comics outside of the Batverse and some recent Wonder Woman, and seems pretty clueless about the way the industry works. That and she doesn't write that well at all." anonymous poster, Dreamwidth

Details emerge on MAC Wonder Woman collection

Wonder Woman may not be getting a TV show anytime soon, but her make-up line will debut next month.

As reported in July, MAC is bringing a Wonder Woman make-up collection to market. The collection will reportedly be previewed in MAC stores on February 10. Pictures of the collection have slipped on to the internet and the lipstick can be seen in the February issue of Vogue.

Pictures of the compact in the set have been posted in a the MAC forums.

Other pictures have been posted as well. The make-up in the set will have names that include Lady’s Justice, Valiant and Defiant. Pricing will range from $14-$49.50.

I’ve yet to hear what DC is doing for any cross marketing. Will they have copies of the Wonder Woman comic to hand out with make-up purchases? Gift cards for DC’s digtal store to get free copies of Wonder Woman, Birds of Prey or any other DC Comic? This is an excellent opportunity to expose a prospective new customer to their comics. I look forward to seeing what they have planned.

  18. fashiontipsfromcomicstrips said: I would love it if DC x MAC collaborated on a comic to give/sell with the line… as long as it’s not as infuriating as the Diane Von Furstenberg x Wonder Woman comic :)
