Breaking: Batwoman #1 and 2 delayed - debut moved to April
Bleeding Cool and two comic retailers are reporting that Batwoman issues #1 and #2 have been removed from DC’s solicits and will be resolicited for April.
The LCS the Launchpad reported last night on Facebook:
Another comic vendor Comics on the Green also reported the news via Twitter:
The schedule for DC solicits is the third Monday of the month. That means Aprils solicits could be released today. It will be interesting to see if Batwoman #1 is in those solicits.
I’ll update this story with any comment from DC.
If this is indeed true, it is incredibly disappointing. The process of getting a Batwoman book to publication has been a long one with many stops and shorts. Just two weeks ago DC showed off preview art from #1 so this delay would be a very recent decision.
