Flashpoint could bring a hefty price point
DC will be making a series of announcements today about it’s upcoming Flashpoint series. But for now the new is the sheer scope of the event which looks to rival Blackest Night:
1. A 5 issue main series (that’s less than Blackest Night)
2. 15, that’s right, 15 mini-series that’s much more than Blackest Night which I believe had 8 three issue minis.
3. And one-shots, the number to be announced. Blackest Night had 10.
That’s means the cost of the event, assuming it’s at the $2.99 price, might be close to $170 depending on the number of one-shots and the minis are only 3 issues.
Also it’s looking more and more like this will be a reboot and retitle of all the DC books as Bleeding Cool reported. Here’s the tagline for Flashpoint:
This isn’t a parallel Earth.
This isn’t a mirror world.
This is home.
