The publicity drum for Man of Steel is beginning to pick up in anticipation of the first full trailer next month. Yesterday WB announced that film will be released in June in both IMAX and 3-D versions.
And Amy Adams continues to discuss her role as Lois Lane. Yesterday in the LA Times spoke about her love of the character, again.
When you grow up knowing all the words to the love themefrom “Superman,” as Amy Adams did, the thought of one day portraying Lois Lane doesn’t really pop into your head.
“Never,” says Adams, who will indeed be playing Supe’s main squeeze in next summer’s Superman origin story “Man of Steel.” “I did, however, grow up wanting to be Lois Lane. For real. Really wanting to be Lois Lane, not just an actress playing her.”
Adams has been effusive about Lois before but in this interview she added another dimension to her affinity for the character. In this interview she reveals that it is not that Lois is just a great character that made Adams want to be the character:
…Let’s cut to the chase. I wanted Superman.”
You can read the rest of the interview here. And here’s a look at Adams on the set of MoS.
