Why is everyone saying Dinah Laurel Lance has been replaced by Dinah Drake? I thought DLL was the only Black Canary now and they gave her Drake as a married name as a little nod.
Because she has? Before the reboot Black Canary was Dinah Laurel Lance, daughter of Dinah Drake Lance and Larry Lance. The character is now named Dinah Drake Lance, Lance now being her married name.

I think it’s more accurate to say that Dinah Laurel Lance has been conflated with Dinah Drake Lance - the daughter has been given some characteristics (in particular, the name) of the mother, who now no longer exists.
