This is it! The Finals of the 2012 Kick Ass DC Woman Tournament

It started with 32 women and it is now down to just two. Match after match each finalist fought off the competition winning their battles in both walks and by just a handful of votes.

And today one of these women will join the previous winners, Oracle and Cass Cain, to win the title!

In this corner, a woman who has been in DC Comics for two decades. Through the years she’s been known as Spoiler, Robin, Batgirl and for a millisecond, NightWing.

Some call her the “come back kid”, some call her “Girl Wonder”, some call her “benched” but in the end she’s all once person

And in the other corner a woman who was one of the founders of the JLA, co-founder of the Birds of Prey and a leader of the JLA. A woman who was one of the few legacy females in DC comics helping to inspire, in part, Silk Spectre II. A character that was broken down and built up again in one of the best organic character developments in comics. The daughter of the original Black Canary, one of the top martial artists in DC comics and a woman who has worn a headband and fishnets as part of her costume but never together.
