DC Women Kicking Ass

Thoughts, pictures, reviews and other stuff about the women in comics who kick ass. This is a feminist site. Deal with it.
"... just a dreadful little site that just basically compiles lists." - poster/DC Comics forum
"... provides a much-needed voice that is not often heard on traditional comic sites." - Wired's Geek Dad
... she's pretty amazingly ignorant of comics outside of the Batverse and some recent Wonder Woman, and seems pretty clueless about the way the industry works. That and she doesn't write that well at all." anonymous poster, Dreamwidth

Yes, I Did Squee a Bit When I Saw These

I’m always on the lookout for items that put female superheroes, particularly those of DC, in front of little girls. And I as I was grocery shopping yesterday I came across something that made me squee.

Bellywashers are basically kids fruit juice in a reusable containers. They’ve been around for a few years and kitchen is filled with empty Spider-Man, Superman and Batman bottles. We also have a bunch the “girl” versions usually consist of Disney Princesses except for one glorious year they all three PowerPuff Girls had one.

But I am really excited to see that Wonder Woman and a Supergirl Logo versions are now available. From the looks of the Wonder Woman face, the mold is from the the animated Justice League so I suspect this is a reissue. The Supergirl I believe is new.

They only had two and bought them. Has anyone seen them in stores?
