Batwoman Nominated for GLAAD Media Award
GLAAD has announced its nominations for its media awards and Batwoman was again nominated in the Best Comic category. The comic has won the award twice before.
DC Comics also picked up a nomination for Earth-2 which made headlines earlier this year when the Green Lantern Alan Scott was reimagined as an out gay man.

Batwoman by W. Haden Blackman, J.H. Williams III from DC Comics
Buffy the Vampire Slayer by Andrew Chambliss, Scott Allie, Jane Espenson, Drew Z. Greenberg from Dark Horse
Earth 2 by James Robinson from DC Comics
Kevin Keller by Dan Parent from Archie Comics
I spent this morning replying to someone who felt compelled to post incredibly tin eared comments in a discussion from eight months ago about the need for visibility and representation in comics.
Frustrating but sadly not unusual in the least.
