Cartoon Network Schedule Does Not Include Young Justice, Green Lantern

Cartoon Network is doing its upfronts for the coming season and today announced its slate of programming. As many suspected and even feared Young Justice is not on the list nor is Green Lantern. DC Nation will now consist of two previously announced DC properties, Teen Titans Go and Beware the Batman.

No reason was given for the shows cancellation although viewers suspected that the network’s focus and commitment to the shows questionable after the show was pulled from the schedule in October of last year.

Cartoon Network also announced a CGI Power Puff Girls Special. Unfortunately the team involved with the original show, Craig McCracken and Lauren Faust, are not involved. Dave Smith and Kevin Dart in associated with the UKs Passion Pictures are the new team. The original cast will, however, be back to voice the show.
