Earlier today Cartoon Network cancelled Young Justice, which featured Wonder Woman. And now reports are out that the CW has passed on the show, Amazon, for fall. Deadline says the network has “rolled” the pilot until next year.
The pilot script, being written by former Wonder Woman writer Allan Heinberg, was up until two weeks ago unseen by the CW even though the network was auditioning actresses for the role.
This is the second try in the past three years in getting Wonder Woman to the small screen. David E. Kelly’s script was made into a much lambasted pilot in 2011 starring Adrianne Palicki that was passed on by NBC.
There have multiple attempts to make a Wonder Woman movie through the years that have also failed. Currently the character is slated to appear in Warner Bros. Justice League movie slated for 2015.
She just can’t catch a break, can she?

*SIGHHHHHH*
