Preview of Batwoman 17: Say Goodbye to J.H. Williams’ Art

Batwoman #17 is out tomorrow and it is the last issue for the foreseeable future with J.H. Williams III on art (he’ll continue to co-write the book with Haden Blackman.) While I think Trevor McCarthy has been doing a good job handing art on the alternating issues, the loss of Williams is a significant one. Williams has been the signature artist on the character since her arc in Detective Comics almost four years ago. He created the character’s post 52 look and has been the creator associated with the character the longest. I am going to greatly miss his art on this book.
