It’s Kick Ass not Slap Ass

Wonder Woman and I parted ways last year as reader and book. But despite my differences, I believe it was one of the best books of the new 52. As I’ve said before, it wouldn’t take much for me to be a reader again. 

Mostly. Except when something like this shows up.

Yes, Wonder Woman had her ass slapped. By a supporting character. In her own book. 

So what did she do?

What a difference from when Wonder Woman would school Guy Gardner on his bullshit.

But this is a new Wonder Woman; she might get a tad angry but nothing else.  Or as one of the charming posters in one the wonderful comics forums put it.

“Azz’s Diana doesn’t really come across as a hair-trigger bitch.”

Which I guess is what you call someone who reacts strongly to getting their ass slapped?

Because you know, even if they are the world’s most powerful female or a member of the Justice League in the end, you end is just another women’s end.
