Yes, it has been 3 weeks since the last ‘cast. Kelly, Maddy and I took a week off from recording due to the mishegas of DCnU. But after a cathartic off-line chat that included a mindboggling amount of f-bombs, we are back with a new ‘cast. And what a ‘cast it is!
This week I review Secret Six #34, Kelly looks at American Vampire: Survival Of The Fittest #1, and Maddy tells us about a great new read, The Never Weres.
Hot topic this week…could it be anything other than the DCnU? The September “re-launch” is all anyone in comics is talking about – which we’re sure DC considers some measure of success. Chick of the week is a tribute to one of the best female characters in all of comics. Can you guess who it is? There’s also a long discussion after the credits in which Kelly tries to convince Maddy and Me to give Buffy The Vampire Slayer
a try and the whole thing evolves (or devolves?) into a discussion about our influences and inspirations in fiction. Down load here and enjoy!
