Heroclix is debuting their Streets of Gotham packs and these two caught my eye:
Technically it isn’t two, just two versions; when you order one you’ll either get her in her civvies or in costume. See the rest of the entry here.
I’ve said before that Wizkid’s HeroClix is my favorite DCU right now and here’s another reason. We may never see a team-up of all three Batgirl’s in comics beyond the panel below in Batgirl vol. 2 #24 and numerous pieces of commissioned and fan art.
But now you can have it playing HeroClix which unveiled today it’s newest piece:
And with their previous unveiling of BabsGirl and BlackBat, you can have all three (and if you are a real stickler you can order a Cass as Batgirl)!
And can I just say the fact that Stephanie’s character has Electro-Magna-Gooperangs makes me so happy? Hey, I just did!
Heroclix who gets why Oracle is so great also gets that there is more than one Batgirl. Today they introduced their newest Heroclix:
Remember her? Daughter of Batman? Had her own comic for 5 years?
Yep, Cass Cain the second Batgirl and last known as the Batman of Hong Kong, Black Bat may be missing from the new 52 but she’ll soon be seen on gaming tables.
Here’s a look at the card and you can read more at the Wizkid’s site.
Not sure of the availability, but my guess is late November or early December.
WizKids, the makers of Heroclix, recently had their Alliance Dinner and previewed some of the DC Heroclix for 2012/13 including several Batfamily figures and sets as well as some familiar old faces from the pre 52 DCU.
In addition to Bat characters, the company is also doing vehicles. Here’s a look at the Batmobile along with some of the Batfam in their new 52 outfits.
I’m loving all the new Heroclix that are coming out this year (like these two which I have on order. Best be getting to that too, folks).
But I am a little puzzled by the announcement of one of their newest Heroclix: the Invisible Jet. We all know the Invisible Jet belongs to:
Wonder Woman, of course.
But this Heroclix:
Is promoted on Wiz Kids this way:
It’s really true. EVERYTHING is about Batman.
Whizkids did a presentation at the GAMA show on their upcoming offerings and there some interesting figures in addition to the expected set from The Dark Knight Rises.
First up the TDKR collection which also includes figures from The Dark Knight
No Catwoman on display unfortunately. But that doesn’t mean that there won’t be a new Catwoman Heroclix because they are also doing a special DC anniversary set (need to get that new logo in there, guys)
And a Batman: No Man’s Land.
I can’t wait to see this set. I hope we get a Cass Cain and an Oracle.
And here’s some of the female characters that will be seen:
There is your Catwoman. But look! Barda and, yes, that does appear to be Stephanie Brown as Batgirl.
