Love is in the Air, Again! The DC Comics Favorite Couple Tourney is Back!

Valentines’ Day is less than a month away but not so close that there isn’t time for the 2nd (not annual) contest to decide:

What is this?

A tournament to decide the favorite DC Comics Couple. Each day you’ll vote for a couple.  The final on Valentines Day will decide the favorite couple.

How are the couples decided?

By you! Send your three favorite couples to me and those with the most votes are in.

Any couple?

Yep, any couple - canon and non-canon. Current continuity or past continuity. This year I’ll be running two tournaments - one for canon couples and one for non-canon. Each tournament will have 16 couples.

So it can be any two people?

Yep, any two people you ship in DC Comics. Note/Update: I should have clarified but no Batcest. 

What’s the timeline?

Couples need to be in by 2PM EST Monday, January 21. The voting will begin the next day.

Where do I send my picks? 

You can leave them in the comments to this post, email them to me at dcwomenkicking (at) yahoo (dot) com or reply to this post. If you plan to reblog (which I hope you do; the more the merrier) becareful that I can read your entries.

Won’t this lead to ship wars and drama?

Yes, and attempted ballot stuffing and cheating. Oh my god, the ballot stuffing that happened the first time. And the cheating. One match had to redone! DRAMA!

Any other guidance?

Yes, the participation of any couple in the tournament is not an endorsement of that relationship; it only represents the popularity of the couple.
